Objectives
Acute Care
Student
- develops and improves clinical skills
- is able to care a variety of ways ill and injured patients within the hospital
- deepens knowledge and skills in specific competences when patient´s need for care in the definition, planning, implementation and evaluation and learn to take responsibility for the care of patient
- learn to make decisions that require expertise in nursing with the patient and with other occupational groups
- develops skills in maintaining the patient´s vital signs, continuous monitoring of the patient´s, documentation and reporting on the condition of the patient
- knows how to prepare, assist and perform essential measurements and treatments in acute care
- developes herself in acute care medication
- is able to start respirator care
- is able to documentation and reporting
- is able to meet and support the patient and relatives
- is able to apply the medicine and other sciences
Intencive Care Unit:
