Objectives
In the course, student learns the basics and key operating methods of renovation construction activities. He knows the history of buildings and structures, so that he is able to use this information as a starting point for his design work. He knows the usual damage phenomena and the usual problems of the building being repaired. During the course, student gets familiar with standard repair solutions.
After the course, student can draw up plans for a small repair job. In the course, the main focus is on the building stock of the 20th century.

History of the building stock to be repaired.
Key construction parts and materials in the building stock to be repaired.
Damage and durability of structures.
Renovation planning.

Student recognizes the basic concepts of the subject area. The results of the presented exercises have been modest. Student participation in contact teaching has been low.

Student knows how to cooperate responsibly and is ready to develop his interaction skills. He recognizes and follows the operating methods important to his field and takes responsibility and commits himself not only to his own activities but also to the activities of the group.

Student masters the concepts of the subject area and knows how to apply them. The results of the presented exercises have been of good quality and they have applied the things studied in a versatile way. Student's participation in contact teaching has been regular and active.
Student knows how to cooperate responsibly, flexibly and constructively.
He develops both his own and the group's interaction. He acts responsibly and committedly, taking into account the demands and needs of the community and his own field.
