Students learn the objectives and procedures of cost accounting and management as regards builders. They learn to use IT tools in the above-mentioned operations.
Students learn to know the main principles of cost accounting methods used in building production. After the course, students can complete both room plan and structural element based cost accounting for buildings.

Student knows how to use the basic things included in the course, such as the basic use of different cost accounting methods and masters the basics of cost accounting methods.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
In addition to the previous one, student can apply cost accounting methods to various challenging calculation situations and can justify the solutions. Student also knows how to create target price estimates and construction component estimates as well as cost calculations.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
In addition to the previous one, student has a comprehensive understanding of the subjects of the course and their use in solving problems, as well as the ability to present and justify the logically chosen solution methods. Student also knows how to make accurate cost calculations and manages the entire cost calculation process.
