Objectives
Students learn to know the zoning system guiding land use and understand the diverse effects of community planning on architectural design. Students learn to know the technical systems of communities.
After completing the course, students understand the zoning system and zone levels, can read planning maps and recognise related markings. Students can analyse the community structure and produce documents to support architectural design. Students can consider the landscape and environment as well as technical systems in architectural design.
Students can make block, plot and yard layouts and related documents.
The course is closely connected to other second-year projects.
