Objectives

The student understands the different functions of industrial operations and their added value (e.g. Marketing, Product Development, Production, Purchasing, Logistics) and the connection between them from the point of view of both business management and operative operations. Can look critically and broadly and can connect the opportunities offered by IoT and sustainable development (e.g. circular economy) in industrial business.

The student knows the key principles and theories of personnel management and the labor legislation of their own industry.

Management accounting, cost accounting, financial statements and industrial investments.
Marketing, product development, production and purchasing activities, as well as operation management in industrial environments.
Utilization of Iot in industrial business

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student recognizes the basic concepts and boundary conditions of management and supervisor work as well as production economics. The student is aware of the laws governing the subject area and performs the assigned tasks, with assistance if necessary.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student knows the laws, concepts and boundary conditions that govern the functions of management and supervisors as well as production economy. The student performs the assigned tasks independently.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows how to draw up a business strategy a company industry and a development plan for herself / himself as a supervisor.
