Objectives
The goal of the course is to plan, develop, and validate an analysis method.
Upon completing the course, students will
• Plan and execute the development of an analysis method.
• Plan and execute method validation.
• Evaluate measurement results using statistical methods.
• Report their work and findings according to instructions.
• Collaborate effectively and safely in a group and laboratory environment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Students plan and develop an analysis method under guidance. They create a method validation plan and perform validation under guidance. Students interpret and evaluate results under guidance.They assess method functionality using statistical methods, but with significant gaps in interpretation. Students create proper work reports for laboratory tasks. They work safely in the laboratory and participate in group work.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
Students seek information and apply it purposefully. They select the most suitable approach from different options and justify their choice. Students interpret analysis results and evaluate their reliability.They create a method validation plan and perform validation.
Students actively participate as group members, plan, schedule, and report their work effectively, demonstrating competence in the subject area. They work safely in the laboratory.

Students thoroughly research information and apply it effectively to their purpose. They demonstrate problem-solving skills and organizational ability in their work. Students interpret analysis results comprehensively and critically evaluate their reliability. Their reports are expertly presented, drawing on relevant literature. They work purposefully within a group, taking responsibility for their own work, group collaboration, safety, and reporting.
