Objectives

This course aims to expand and deepen students’ knowledge of instrument analytics.

Upon completing the course, students will:
• Understand the principles and terminology of instrument analytics.
• Recognize the significance of instrument parameters in analyses and be able to calculate them.
• Be familiar with the structures and operating principles of analytical instruments.
• Select the most suitable sample handling techniques for analysis.
• Present the operating principles of various laboratory analytical instruments.
• Understand basic maintenance procedures and functional testing for instruments.
• Explain how instrument parameters and analysis conditions impact the results.
• Perform calculations related to analyses.
• Interpret analysis results.
