Objectives

A student:
- learns to work in project environments and ICT projects
- manages the different phases of the project
- is able to receive and provide development suggestions and feedback on project management tasks
- can evaluate the success of the project
- is able to report and document the progress of the project at different stages

Content

The course includes:
- the student's own development project and its different stages
- reporting and documenting the development project at various stages
- keeping record of working hours

The development project can be a RDI project, student's own project or other similar project.
The suitability of the project will be negotiated prior to the start of the project with the teacher in charge of study path or the head of degree programme.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Approved performance requires a suitable project and its proper reporting as specified.

Further information

Teacher in charge of study path may approve credits for a project between 1 and 15 ECTS as part of professional studies or free-choise studies. In order to ensure the overall aggregation of credits for projects, the total number of hours spent on the project (1 ECTS = 27 hours) should be verifiable by the report or the portfolio. The project is done outside of the practical training periods and the thesis work. The reporting should be in accordance with TAMK's reporting guidelines.
