Objectives

After completing the course, the student will be able to
• make practical measurements to support vehicle design
• choose the right type of measuring device for the measurement target
• choose the right type of sensors
• make a basic measurement program for the measurement object
• analyze the results of the basic measurement program.

Content

The aim of the study course is to be able to carry out tests/measurements for mobile machines in practice.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student understands the operation of the measuring equipment and the sensor. He participates in doing the work and reporting.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student knows how to choose the right measuring equipment for the environment in use. Knows how to take into account the negative factors that come from the circumstances. The student works actively as a member of the group and can report his work well.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to analyze measurement results and is able to develop measurement methods. Can also recommend measuring equipment suitable for the situation. He is able to anticipate security risks and advise others on security. The student is highly motivated, takes committed responsibility for his own and the group's performance and reporting.
