The student knows how to
- plan, realize and report a research or a development project dealing with automotives
- draw up questions and structure and direct the thesis process
- position the thesis work in relevant frame of reference using sources related to the topics
- execute the research or development task he/she has chosen by using appropriate methods
- present the results deliberately, ... and ...
- report his/her work in good Finnish language (or English)

Students on their own initiative get the thesis work assigment from the automotive industry or from the public sector. It is also possible to write a thesis based on student's own ideas, but this is not recommended.

The thesis topic must be in one of the program curriculum's topics. It can be a single project or a part of a larger multifield project.

All thesises are public.
