Objectives

Students complete the statutory vehicle inspection legal course and are qualified to continue to the practical training part for qualifying as vehicle inspectors.

Students know:
- laws concerning light vehicles and their inspection
- the inspection points in light vehicles
- the acceptance limits of inspection points
- how to use traffic information management software in vehicle inspection.

Introduction to the vehicle inspection garage and training at the garage

Prerequisites

Students must have a certain amount of garage experience in order to move to the practical training period. The amount of required garage experience varies depending on the student's basic education.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Students are ready start vehicle inspection training under supervision.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Students are able to start independent vehicle inspection training.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students are able to work independently in vehicle inspection.
