Objectives

The course provides the skills to develop the organisation and to work as a chaperone.

After completing the course, the student
• knows the main laws of labour legislation from the perspective of management and can read and interpret the collective agreement in his/her field
• can apply theories and knowledge of chaperone work from the perspective of self-management, management of other people and management of issues
• can take into account factors affecting the functioning of organisations

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Students will be familiar with labour legislation and will identify the key theories and practices of leadership. The student will be able to search for information on the subject area. The student will be able to perform the tasks assigned. The student will identify the key practices of leadership. Participates in group activities and recognises his/her role in the group. The student can give and receive feedback.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student has a comprehensive knowledge of labour law. The student can apply the key theories of leadership skills in practice, can compare different approaches and solutions and can justify his/her decisions. The student can search for and use information related to leadership and assigned tasks. The student will be able to share his/her knowledge, solve assigned tasks in a comprehensive manner and identify ways of working that are effective in terms of learning within a timeframe. The student is able to compare and select theories and information when solving tasks. The student is able to work interactively and to evaluate issues, activities and learning from his/her own and the immediate community's point of view. The student can actively give constructive feedback

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students can apply labour legislation to working life. The student can understand and use a wide range of theories and knowledge related to leadership skills. They can integrate knowledge and draw on their own experience. They can analyse different models of managerial action and solutions. They can search for alternative theories and knowledge and can justify their solutions from the perspective of future working life and different work communities. They can cooperate interactively and professionally. The student is able to work responsibly, flexibly and constructively and is prepared to develop his/her own and the group's interaction and learning.
