Objectives

The student can apply the principles of analytical chemistry, calculate the concentration of solutions and knows the meaning of chemical equilibrium.
The student can work safely in the laboratory following Finnish and English work instructions. The student can make qualitative and quantitative analysis and make a report of his/her results by utilizing chemical litterature.

- theoretical principles of analytical chemistry: solutions, composition, equilibrium reactions and electrochemistry
- pH of the buffer and salt solutions
- solubility calculations
- operating principles of analysis equipments
- analytical chemistry laboratory work
