Aika ja paikka
More detailed agenda can be found in Moodle. Lectures will be held according to the timetable in Pakki/lukkarikone.
Tenttien ja uusintatenttien ajankohdat
Exam day is set during the course together with the students. Retake exams will be available in EXAM.
Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet
Grading is based on completing group work poster (10%), laboratory work / excursion report (15%), exams (71%) and lecture attendance (0-4%).
Lecture attendance affects grading in the following way: 85-100 % attendance = 4/4, 75-85 % = 3/4, 65-75 % = 2/4, 50-65 % = 1/4 and below 50 % = 0/4.
Exams is a compulsory part of the course. First exam (fiber line) will have a bigger impact on the final grade. This is because the scope of the first exam is bigger than with the second exam.
Topics for group work posters will be assigned during the course. Topics will cover different pulping methods
Activity during the course increases the grade in borderline cases.
