Objectives

The aim of the course is to develop skills in automated marketing and sales campaign design. The course will enable students to consider teamwork as part of marketing and sales campaign planning.

On completion of the course, the student will:
- understand the importance of automation in marketing and sales
- can plan a marketing and sales campaign
- to structure his/her own role in a group's activities
- Knowing how to define the role of the sales force and how to organise and manage a sales campaign
- knows how to apply automation as part of a marketing and sales campaign
- can document the progress of the project and present the results of the project

- Planning a sales and marketing campaign
- Key performance indicators and target setting as part of the campaign
- Acting as a member of a team
- Automation system for marketing and sales campaigns
- Documentation of the campaign and presentation of results

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Students will identify the elements of a marketing and sales campaign. Understand the basics of marketing and sales automation. The student will participate in work and reporting as part of a team.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Students will articulate the main elements, metrics and objectives of a marketing and sales campaign. The student will be able to select and apply the tools that support the campaign from the options offered by the automation system. The student will be an active member of a team and will be able to report well on his/her work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students will be able to analyse the elements, metrics and objectives of a marketing and sales campaign and the relationships between them. They will understand the automation system and the campaign as a whole and be able to justify the tool choices made. The student will be highly motivated and committed to taking responsibility for his/her own and the team's performance and reporting.
