Objectives

After completing the course, the student
• knows the regulations and documents as well as ethical and pedagogical principles that guide the work of a music pedagogue.
• understands the significance of self-knowledge and interaction in learning and learner communities.
• is able to develop appropriate and accessible learning environments.

Content

During the course, we will seek to answer the following questions:
• What are the regulations and documents as well as ethical and pedagogical principles that guide the work of a music pedagogue?
• What do self-knowledge and interaction mean and how do they impact learning and learner communities?
• What kind of learning environments are appropriate and accessible, and how can they be developed?

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Completing the course successfully requires demonstrating competence in accordance with the competence objectives using the agreed implementation methods.
