Objectives

The student learns ways to build an effective team and the acquisition of principles for leading people and workgroups. They also learn how to develop their own personal skills as a team leader.

After completing the course, the student
- analyses various management cultures in the audiovisual industry
- masters methods and tools for leading different individuals, motivating people, time management, and personal leadership development
- knows the fundamentals of building an effective team
- can provide constructive feedback as part of leadership
- possesses basic skills for managing challenging situations

Leadership in AV industry environments.
Fundamentals of teamwork and leadership.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student knows some methods and tools for leading different individuals and motivating people. They understand foundations of building an effective team. They can provide feedback as part of their leadership role. They know basics for handling challenging situations. They identify some strengths and areas for improvement in their role as a team leader.

The student recognises various leadership cultures in the AV industry. They are aware of methods and tools for leading diverse individuals, motivating people, managing their own time, and developing their own leadership. They understand the foundations of building an effective team. They can provide constructive feedback as part of their leadership role. They have the basic knowledge of handling challenging situations. They identify strengths and areas for improvement in their role as a team leader.

The student analyses the various leadership cultures in the AV industry. They manage methods and tools for leading different individuals, motivating people, managing their own time, and developing their own leadership. They understand the foundations of building an effective team and can apply their knowledge in practice. They can provide constructive feedback as part of their leadership role. They are familiar with the basics and can propose solutions for handling challenging situations. They recognise strengths and areas for improvement and actively develop themselves in their role as a team leader.
