Objectives
The objective of the course is to familiarize the student with designing AV products and pitching them to clients. During the course, students will learn the principles of customer-centric design and service design, customer data collection, and the utilization of artificial intelligence in the design process and pitching.
After completing the course, the student
- knows the principles and significance of customer-centric design in AV industry client projects.
- can select and apply methods and tools for gathering and analyzing customer information.
- considers data privacy requirements when collecting information.
- evaluate the features of AV distribution platforms in relation to customer needs.
- utilises AI-based applications for data collection and processing.

The student demonstrates knowledge of customer-centric and service design principles. However, information gathering, and application of customer-oriented methods are inadequate. Evaluation of distribution channels and utilization of AI-based applications are superficial. In concept design, customer-centricity remains thin.

The student is knowledgeable about the principles of customer-centric and service design. The student selects and applies appropriate methods for gathering and analyzing customer information. They evaluate distribution channels from the customer's perspective and utilize AI-based tools in their design. The customer's needs are clearly considered in concept design.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student demonstrates excellent knowledge of the principles of customer-centric and service design. The student selects and applies methods for gathering and analysing customer information in a versatile and appropriate manner. They evaluate and compare distribution channels from the customer's perspective and seamlessly utilise AI-based tools in their design process. The customer's needs are thoroughly and creatively considered in concept design.
