Objectives

The objective of the course is to familiarize the student with the practices of practical training, searching for trainee positions, and setting professional goals for the practical training.

After completing the course, the student
- understands the significance of training as part of professional development
- knows the methods and channels for training and job search in the AV industry
- knows the practical training objectives, instructions, and forms of TAMK
- knows the practices of the degree program for reporting and evaluation of internships.
- knows the responsibilities of the trainee, employer, and educational institution during the training
- can prepare the necessary job application documents and fill out a training agreement
- can search for practical training positions

The difference between paid and unpaid internships

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

The student knows TAMK's and the degree program's practical training objectives, guidelines, and practices. They know the responsibilities of different parties in paid and unpaid internships. They are familiar with channels for finding training positions and can create documents for their job search. They set goals for their training and professional development. They can draft an internship agreement and search for internship positions.
