Content

During the course, the concept and script are developed, as well as the realistic pre-production plan for a short fiction project.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student develops the script and conducts background research under guidance; experimentation with alternatives is somewhat limited. They are capable of implementing the pre-production stages of fictional production.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student develops their content and expressive skills in script development. They are capable of making observations and acquiring background information in scriptwriting. They experiment with alternatives in content development. They can take into account production constraints and make resource-wise decisions in script development. They are capable of implementing production pre-planning based on the script.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student actively and independently enhances their content and expressive skills in script development. Observation and acquiring background information in scriptwriting are systematic. They creatively and convincingly experiment with different alternatives in content development. They comprehensively consider production constraints and make resource-wise decisions in script development. They smoothly implement production pre-planning based on the script.
