Objective of course:
Students become aware of nursing science, the development of nursing science and its importance with respect to health care work. They learn the key concepts of nursing science and they learn to apply critical thinking in their professional growth.
Students become aware of scientific research process and they know how to use and benefit from research information. They learn to use information retrieval methods and they are aware of research ethics. Students learn different research approaches; quantitative and qualitative. Students recognise the role of research in the development of their profession.
Students learn the basic statistical concepts, and they learn to produce and display statistical data graphically. They learn to calculate and interpret parameters.
