Basics of Quality Principles and Environmental Management (4op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The aim of the course is to introduce the students to sustainable development both on a local and global level especially in respect to the international agreements. It also introduces the students to the concepts of total quality philosophies and practicies, in order to develop the student's awareness for the importance of good quality in both personal an professional activities when establishing a quality structure.

The principles of ecological thinking and sustainable development in environ­mental administration with Agenda 21 and its follow-up in diffe­rent count­ries are discussed from the point of view of environmental ethics. Quality philosophies, personal and professional activities when establishing a quality culture in all activities.
