Osaamistavoitteet

After the course, the student is able to:

- identify and explain the fundamental concepts and tools in CAD
- demonstrate basic proficiency in using AutoCAD to create models of objects and environments
- adapt AutoCAD designs for potential 3D printing applications, while understanding the limitations and possibilities of 3D printing technology.
- create and manage a personal design project from conception to execution using AutoCAD, incorporating feedback and revisions to improve the design quality.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2)

Understands and can explain the basic concepts and tools in CAD. Demonstrates elementary proficiency in using AutoCAD for modeling simple objects or environments. Has a basic understanding of adapting designs for 3D printing, recognizing some limitations and possibilities of the technology. Can create a simple design project using AutoCAD, but may require guidance and has limited ability to incorporate feedback effectively.

Shows good knowledge of fundamental CAD concepts and tools. Capable of using AutoCAD to create more complex models with some level of detail and accuracy.
