After the course, the student is able to:

- identify and describe the various phenomena affecting environmental noise propagation, including the different quantities used to measure noise levels and noise exposure.
- understand and explain the effects of environmental noise on human health and well-being, integrating this knowledge with noise measurement data.
- conduct and interpret theoretical exercises and practical noise measurements, applying these skills to real-world environmental noise scenarios.
- utilize and navigate noise simulation software for environmental modelling, demonstrating a basic proficiency in simulating noise impacts.
- develop a foundational understanding of how environmental calculation models are built and used for noise assessment and management.
