Osaamistavoitteet
The student knows the basic weaved structures and derivate weaves with their characteristics. The student understands how the structures are formed. The student knows how to design and produce weaved textile structures. The students can explain the manufacturing process from yarn to weaving.
The student knows the weaving machine types and process and knows how to select the suitable machine type. The student is aware of new innovations in weaving technology and of various woven textile structures. The student understands the weaving manufacturing process from yarn to fabric. The student can do calculations needed in weaving production and understand the quality control methods in weaving process

- derivate weaves, fortified weaves, the principles of multilayered weaves, new innovations
- weaving technology and process from design to final product, from yarn to fabric
- necessary equipment and methods in weaving mill, process and quality control

Knowing: The student knows the basics of weaving technology and process. The student can describe the basic weaved structures and fabrics properties. The student can explain the basic process from yarn to weaving.
Acting: The student manages the assigned tasks under supervision/assistance.
Being: The student takes his/her responsibity for studying and is capable of working in a group. The student can give and take feedback.

Knowing: The student knows well the weaving technology and process. The student can independently explain the more advanced weaved structures and the technology needed to produce them. The student can explain the process from yarn to weaving in more advanced level. The student understands the quality requirements of weaved structures according to end use requirements.
Acting: The student applies substance matter learnt in previous studies, makes a plan/plans before carrying out tasks, limits tasks/problems to have an appropriate scope, solves problems.
Being: The student can give and receive feedback actively and constructively, can cooperate responsibly and is ready to develop his/her interaction skills. The student recognizes and follows the important courses of action in the field. The student takes responsibility and commits to the group activities in addition to his/her own work.
