Osaamistavoitteet

After completing the course, the student knows and is able to explain the operating principles of the most common research methods used in analyzing and characterization of materials and fibers.

The student understand the importance of the laboratory safety working methods and istructions. The student can apply working instructions and follow them, can apply testing standards and use the physical, chemical or analytical analyzing equipment in right way.

Sisältö

- The most common testing and analysis methods for testing and identifying materials.
- Identification of fibers and materials by chemical, physical and mechanical methods.
- Structures and operating principles of different analyzing instruments. Handling the results.

Being: The student can give and receive feedback actively and constructively, can cooperate responsibly and is ready to develop his/her interaction skills. Recognizes and follows the important courses of action in the field. Takes responsibility and commits to the group activities in addition to his/her own work.
