Osaamistavoitteet

In this project course, participants have the flexibility to either work on their own animation or VFX project or contribute to a segment of a larger production that involves animation or VFX elements.

The student will improve their skills by working on a project, either on their own or with a team. The student is able to gain experience in animation or VFX and learn how to handle projects and manage their time effectively. Understanding the possibilities of sustainable production methods. The previously acquired skills are put into practice. The course prepares the students to work in an oriented and self-directed way within a student team.

Sisältö

The project course has a flexible structure where teachers follow each student's project on a weekly basis. During these weekly meetings, students report their project status and progress.
The projects are documented in a project plan and a project report. Each student will submit an individual project report.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2)

The student has a basic understanding of project workflow. Participation in a project has taken place, but there may have been challenges in project management. In a group project, some communication challenges may have occurred.

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4)

The student creates the project according to the project plan. Has demonstrated the ability to work towards a preconceived goal within a professional setting. Giving and receiving feedback to achieve higher quality in their work takes place. The student documents the working process in the project report in detail, understands various methods of project management, and knows how to apply them in practice in the chosen project work role.

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)

The student produces consistent deliverables following the project plan and has an understanding of large-scale project work and the project roles.

The ability to generalize, analyze, and communicate at a professional level is gained. The student has insight into different project management methods and solution options and is capable of justifying project management choices, even experimenting with methods.

Professional growth occurs at personal and team levels.
The ability to act responsibly and consider sustainability issues in the project process is demonstrated.
