Learning how to digitally animate elements. Implement the classical animation principles into animatable characters and animated elements. The Visual Effects field will be covered by covering the basics of physical simulations, including particle systems.

Sisältö

Students will use animation software to make different tests on the animation principles and simulations. There will be daily exercises along the lectures that demonstrate the principles. The tasks finished within this course will be further utilised in other courses. This course is run mostly as contact teaching. Topics of the course include:

• Pose to pose animation and frame by frame - animation
• Classical animation principles
• Layout and staging for animation
• Combining audio and movement, lip sync

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2)
