Use a notebook on lectures in Contemporary Art Methods -course for the written report
In the notebook you will write on all lectures and visits we will make during the course. You are supposed to comment on the issues, artists and artworks that we discuss during the course. You should make notes on what were discussed but that is not enough - you should also tell your own thoughts about the subject – what were the things you agreed and what did you disagree, what inspired you or what was annoying and always reason why do you think so.
In the end of the course you should write a report that is a kind of summary about your notebook (4 A4-pages, font size 12) and focus on the 3 most interesting subjects of the course and what did you learn. The report should be well written and clearly structured text that could be published on the school blog. It is important that you get your own voice into your report and that it shows your personal point of view. Email your report to sari.tervaniemi@tuni.fi
