Objectives (course unit)

The student has deepened their knowledge of musical theatre repertoire. They are able to execute the characteristics and stylistic features of musical theatre singing across different genres. The student is capable of performing in public concerts. Student´s vocal and interpretive skills have developed to the point where she/ he/ they can enhance their own expression and utilize various vocal techniques and styles. The student possesses a diverse repertoire and can work systematically and independently.

• Expanding knowledge of musical theatre repertoire
• Deepening skills in various musical theatre singing styles and techniques
• Exploring and applying different vocal techniques on one’s own instrument
• Implementing various techniques in personal expression
• Systematic implementation of independent work

Prerequisites (course unit)

Musical Theatre Singing 1 has been successfully completed.

Participation in teaching and organized master classes and concerts
Performance in a concert during the autumn semester, with written feedback provided.
Performance in a concert during the spring semester, which provides verbal feedback
Attendance: 80%

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

The student demonstrates technical and artistic mastery of the required program level. The student also highlights the distinctive features of different stylistic directions. Key points include:
• Versatile and expressive vocal performance and interpretation.
• Solid technical skills.
• Competent management of musical compositions as a whole.
• Demonstration of individual artistic vision.
Rejected: The student exhibits significant deficiencies in the above-mentioned areas.
