Taking advantage of group counselling.
Encouraging students to peer counselling.
Knowing about the possibilities, demands and risks of digitalization in counselling, education and students’ actions and taking those into account in counselling.
Justifying choices when using information and communication technology as a part of counselling.
Guidance as a process and directing the discussion towards goals.
Making sure the decisions are made by the person being counselled.
Making sure a clear and concrete plan of action or an idea of how to proceed is created in the guidance discussion.
Supporting the person being counselled in their agency, choices and career progress (supporting career skills).
