Objectives
The student
- is able to observe the patient's basic vital functions and provide appropriate care, especially with regard to breathing
- is able to ensure that the patient's airway is open by positioning, and with an endotracheal tube or supraglottic device if necessary
- knows the intubation devices and the intubation technique and is able to assist in an intubation
- is able to use the transport ventilator
