Objectives (course unit)
The student understands the basics of clothing and textile products manufacturing process and the planning process requirements.
The student can explain the textile product manufacturing process and required versatile technologies. The student is aware of issues affecting product quality and product pricing in the value chain.
The student knows how production is planned and controlled, understands the process from product design to manufacturing.
Content (course unit)
Textile product and garment manufacturing process and engineering techniques.
Manufacturing and assembly design
Modeling and product development process, CAD design softwares
Machines,auxiliary machinery for cutting, sewing, assembling and finishing
Seam structures for different materials and products
Production process and quality control, production planning and ERP, pricing of products
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
Knowing: The student can define the basics of product and garment manufacturing process and knows the most essentials technologies and processes related to the topic.
Acting: The student is able to analyze simple tasks related phenomena like discussed examples. The student manages the assigned tasks under supervision/assisted.
Being: The student can give and receive feedback, can work in a group, takes responsibility for his/her own work.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)
Knowing: The student has versatile ability to understand and analyze the product and garment manufacturing processes and has deep understanding of these issues.
Acting: The student can search for diverse solution alternatives, justify his/her choices and try new courses of action, assesses diverse solution alternatives, combines solution alternatives creatively or creates new ones.
Being: The student can cooperate responsibly, flexibly and constructively, develops his/her own and the group's interaction, works responsibly and in a committed manner considering the community and field requirements and needs.
