Objectives (course unit)
The student has deepened his / her knowledge of the basics of choir conducting and has become acquainted with the repertoire of different eras and styles.
The student masters the practice technique and musical expression and is able to practice and conduct the choir at the level required by the chosen program. He / she is able to independently research and analyze the scores of the course and make plans to practice them with the choir.
The student masters the basics of a singing and is able to purposefully practice the basics of singing for a choir. He masters the basics of phonetics and is able to instruct the choir in a variety of ways in the pronunciation of different languages.
Content (course unit)
In the conducting group, preparing for a choir rehearsal (eg studying a score, making an rehearsal plan, conducting a work), practical rehearsal and analysis of rehearsal work (e.g. using video recordings as an aid).
Conducting a rehearsal choir as well as singing in a choir observing the work of others and practicing one's own choir singing skills.
Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
The student participates in the teaching and does the given tasks and exercises.
The student does not participate fully in the teaching and does not prepare the given tasks.
