Objectives

Students

• have the ability to describe the human being as a psycho-physiological and social entity in different stages of life span
• have the ability to observe and describe human psychomotorics
• are aware of themselves as movers and actors
• have the ability to observe positions, moving and movement and the ability to name them by using the basic terms of biomechanics
• are able to co-operate with the other students

• observation of posture, movement and locomotion
• physical activity for self-awareness
• psychological and social science perspectives on human development

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Approved

• The student actively participates in the study of the subject matter using relevant sources.
• The student demonstrates mastery of the key content covered in the course.
• The student will define joint positions and movements, specifying planes of motion and axes of motion in different phases of basic movement.
• The student will use biomechanical concepts to specify movements.
• The student will be able to describe the age-related basic movements of different age groups using sources.
