Objectives (course unit)
In this course, the student will explore the world of knowledge management and learn how data is transforming business, for example, by enhancing customer insight and improving operational efficiency. The student will gain an understanding of how data creates value in business and how organizations can be managed through information.
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the significance of information in business and the economy at large
- Recognize the various forms and dimensions of information
- Identify the key areas and functions of knowledge management
- Comprehend the role of digitalization in value creation and competitive advantage
- Acknowledge the rapidly evolving opportunities of data and artificial intelligence

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)
The student is able to identify different forms of knowledge and name key areas of knowledge management. The student successfully completes assigned tasks and can recognize practices typical of the field. The student is also able to assess their own performance from a personal perspective and describe the consequences of their actions.

The student is able to structure the relationships between different forms of knowledge and explain the key areas of knowledge management and its role in the economy. The student can select appropriate practices for the field and justify their choices. The student is also able to evaluate their own performance and assess the consequences of their actions.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)
The student demonstrates a broad understanding of the relationships between different forms of knowledge and is able to analyze the key areas of knowledge management and its role in the economy. The student is capable of exploring and experimenting with new approaches, providing justifications for their choices and evaluating them critically. The student is also able to assess their own performance and both evaluate and anticipate the consequences of their actions.
