Bachelor’s Thesis Subject and Idea Seminars (3 cr)

Objectives (course unit)

Students
-choose and restrict a subject to the Bachelor’s Thesis which is related to the radiographer's work
-are able to utilize suitable national and international information sources during the Bachelor's Thesis process
-write a Bachelor’s Thesis Plan and present it in the idea seminar

Content (course unit)

-Subject seminar
-Idea seminar
-Independent work

Prerequisites (course unit)

-adequate knowledge of the Bachelor's Thesis process and the radiographer's profession
-accepted first academic year of the Degree Programme in Radiography and Radiotherapy

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Pass:
-the Bachelor's Thesis Subject, which is related to the radiographer's work, has been chosen
-meeting with work life has been arranged and memorandum has been written
-preliminary Bachelor's Thesis Plan has been drawn up for the idea seminar
-presenting of the subject in the idea seminar
-active participation in the seminars

Fail:
-absences from the seminars
-the Bachelor's Thesis Subject has not been chosen and/or has not been presented in the seminar
-meeting with work life has not been arranged and/or a memorandum has not been written
