Objectives (course unit)

The aim is to learn to manage both agile software development and hybrid model ICT projects.

Upon completion of the course, the student will:
- Understand the general objectives, principles, and terminology of project management
- Understand the objectives, principles, and terminology of project management in agile and hybrid models
- Be able to use digital tools in project management
- Be able to manage project risks
- Be able to track their time management
- Take into account the client's perspective on the project
- Be able to evaluate the project.

Content (course unit)

Project life cycle models, agile and hybrid project management, project organization and roles, project setting, project plan, product backlog, sprint backlog, sprint events, product version, retrospective, project closure report.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2) (course unit)

The student understands the significance of project management. The student knows the basic concepts of project management. The student is a member of an agile project and can operate with assistance. The student tracks their time management.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student can plan an agile project. The student can analyze and monitor risks. The student can work in an agile project team. The student takes stakeholders' feedback into account. The student can make decisions regarding the project.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5) (course unit)

The student can conduct project risk analysis and mitigate project risks. The student can work in an agile project team, ensuring planning and review meetings. The student can assess and realistically improve their own and the entire project team's performance during the project.
