Assessment methods and criteria

Passing grade 1-5

-written exam, 50%
-spoken exam 50%
-attending the contact lessons
-submitting the minimum of 80% of the homework

One can be absent twice from the contact lessons. If there are more absences, they must be compensated by attending the classes of another suitable course with the same teacher. Serious cases of illness will be handled separately. Absences cannot be compensated with additional assignments.

The homework and their correct answers (key) will be announced on Moodle. The teacher will check that the assignments have been submitted to the Tunimoodle submission platform by the deadline. The student must check themselves that the assignments are done correctly and ask if necessary. Homework cannot be submitted to the teacher's email, nor after the correct answers have been given. To receive the grade indicated by the exams, at least 80% of the homework must be submitted. Insufficient completion of homework may affect the grade.

As this is an elective study, there are no alternative ways to do the course. There are no AHOT procedures for elective studies.
