Objectives (course unit)
This course includes essential knowledge of the convential radiology of adults and child.
After completing the course, the student:
• knows the most common x-ray examinations and the key concepts related to them
• knows the procedure of x-ray examination
• knows how to guide patients in x-ray examination
• knows the basics of radiation protection in x-ray examination
• knows the image evaluation criteria, can evaluate x-ray image and name anatomic structures
• recognizes normal and pathological states from x-ray images (thorax, skeleton, teeth)
• can utilize previous knowledge

• the procedure of x-ray examination
• guidance of different-aged patients in x-ray examinations

Natiiviröntgentutkimusten tentti on jaettu kahteen osaan; raajat ja vartalo.
Jos opiskelija haluaa korottaa kurssin numeroa, hän ilmoittautuu kurssin vastuuopettajalle joulukuun 2024 aikana. Korotuksessa tentitään koko opintojakso kerralla.
