Objectives (course unit)

Opiskelija osaa
- kuvailla henkilöstöjohtamisen keskeiset periaatteet, työpsykologian keskeiset käsitteet sekä kansainvälisen ympäristön eri työkulttuuri eroavaisuudet
- tunnistaa henkilöstön osaamisen, hyvinvoinnin ja toiminnan tuloksen välisen yhteyden
- selvittää oman toimialansa työlainsäädännön keskeisen sisällön, laatia talotekniikka-alojen työntekijän työsopimuksen
- kuvailla henkilöstön rekrytointiprosessin ja irtisanomisprosessin eri vaiheet ja säännökset.
- tunnistaa yrityksen strategiaprosessin ja työkalut sekä strategian merkityksen yrityksen toiminnalle.
- kuvailla erilaisista sopimuskäytäntöjä ja niihin liittyviä velvoitteita erityisesti talonrakennusalalla

Content (course unit)

Basics and challenges of leadership and management. Personal leadership qualities and their development. Recruitment.
Contracts and documents in construction. Labour market and collective labour agreements, contracts of employment, job descriptions, conditions of employment, indirect labour costs, working hours, termination of an employment contracts. Hiring labour, employing foreign labour.

The student briefly describes the principles of human resource management. He / she is able to find key employment laws and contracts. They will be able to draw up an employment contract and describe aspects of recruitment.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4) (course unit)

The student can apply the principles of the person management and labour legislation and central agreements. He can analyse the differences of the contracts of employment of the different worker groups of the building services field, can describe the tools of the motivation of the recruiting process and staff of the staff. The student can describe the strategy process. The student identifies the significance of the agreement in the entrepreneurship.
