Objectives (course unit)

Student
- is able to examine the patient according to the ABCDE protocol and treat the patient in different situations
- is able to inform the patient about the situation using the ISBAR method
- is able to act in emergencies with patients of different ages
- is able to work as a member of a team and lead activities
- masters the main treatment-related measures in his / her specialty
- understand the cause-and-effect relationships due to changes in the patient's condition
- is able to guide the client and his / her relatives in matters related to care
- is able to make treatment-related decisions

Prerequisites (course unit)

Participation in course on Supervised Clinical Training: Simulation 1 and semesters 1 to 5 .
Simulations are taking place at the end of the studies.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)

Pass
The Student
- works actively in simulation in different roles
- is able to act in emergencies
- identify situations that threaten the patient's condition
- is able to find out the key issues about the patient's current situation
- is able to inform the patient about the condition and changes in the condition
- is able to carry out drug treatment safely
- has acquainted with the simulation material in advance and is able to act on the basis of evidence
- has passed the sections of the course

Fail
The Student
- does not actively participate in simulations
- Emergency response endangers the patient's life
- does not recognize life-threatening situations in the patient's condition
- acts improperly in the situation
- cannot inform about issues related to the patient's condition
- does not know how to act consistently in simulations
- has not passed the ylesh test
- has not performed resuscitation evidence
