Objectives (course unit)
Students must register for every course of the Growthmakers module (30 ECTS) and must also apply to Growthmakers at bit.ly/y-kampusgrowthmakers. The deadline to apply is August 15.
A student must complete both of these steps in order to be considered for the course. Growthmakers includes the following courses, which students must register for:
1. Leadership for Growth 5 ECTS
2. Sales & Marketing for Growth in a Digital & Global World 5 ECTS
3. Growth Strategy & Business Models 5ECTS
4. Growth Ecosystems 5ECTS
5. Professional Growth Experience 10ECTS
In this course, students will learn how to develop a growth mindset and lead themselves, their teams, and their businesses with confidence. There is a strong emphasis on self leadership. Students will learn how to break through personal, professinal, and cultural limitations holding themselves and their companies back from growth. Students will understand how to lead their teams in the future world.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Identify and create company vision, mission, and goals
- Understand his/her personal leadership style
- Identify and utilize strengths and weaknesses
- Lead and work successfully in a multicultural team
- Develop a growth mindset
- Be confident in his/her skills, abilities, and business and project this to others
- Utilize failure as a learning/growth experience
- Lead for the future
Assessment criteria, pass/fail (course unit)
Student consistently demonstrates a growth mindset and is able to utilize failure as a learning/growth experience. Student is able to lead and work successfully on a multicultural team.
Student fail to demonstrate the learning objectives of growth mindset, working in a multicultural team and sharing observations of done excercises.
Evaluation methods and criteria
Participants will be evaluated by their partner companies at certain milestones throughout the program. Participants will also routinely conduct peer and self-evaluation. Students will track their hours and activities and keep a learning diary of their experiences. Students will debrief regularly with their coach in order to reflect upon and apply their learning.

Growthmakers will focus on entrepreneurial pedagogy, which will be experienced through phenomenon-based learning and team coaching as well as international experiences and project work with local companies.
