Objectives (course unit)
Opiskelija perehtyy yhdyskuntien vesihuollon järjestämiseen sekä vesihuoltoverkon eri osien mitoitusperusteisiin.
Content (course unit)
Vesi- ja viemäriverkostojen sekä pumppaamoiden mitoitus. Veden hankinta, käsittely ja varastointi. Jätevesien käsittelyprosessit, lietteen käsittely ja laitosten valvonta. Vesihuollon merkitys ympäristölle ja yhteiskunnalle sekä ylläpito ja saneeraustyöt.

Assessment criteria - satisfactory (1-2) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)
The student understands the basics of water and wastewater network planning and can solve basic tasks which have been presented during the classes.
Overall grade more than 50% of the maximum.
Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)
In addition to the above the student is able to apply his/her knowledge and is able justify the decisions.
Overall grade 70...90% of the maximum.
Assessment criteria - excellent (5) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)
In addition to the above the student has a more thorough understanding on the topic and he/she is able to apply his/her knowledge and solve more demanding tasks and he/she is able to justify convincingly the decisions.
