Objectives (course unit)
The course familiarizes student to work in tourism projects. Students participate in various kind of projects.
After completing the course, the students will be able to:
Work in a project team as a team member or project manager.
Content (course unit)
How to work in a project team?
How to promote and develop wellbeing and other forms of tourism by a project?
How to report project work?
Exam schedules
The student can choose the most suitable time for the tourism project. The project plan will be discussed with the teacher. At the end, the student will write a developmental project report.
Evaluation methods and criteria
The final project report will be in the form of an academic report writing. It has to contain theories connected to the development project. It will be evaluated.

Student workload
The student can get five (5) credits after she/he has been working 135 hours for the project including the time for reporting. The project can be done in pairs but the project has to be bigger.
