The student

- understands the meaning of evidence based practice;
- knows how to search the clinical practice guidelines based on scientific evidence

Prerequisites

Study module Introduction to Research 7B00EG46 must be completed before the course.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student has described the search terms and search process superficially. The sources are disjointed, and they do not answer the research questions. He/she has used only one international research article. The student can describe levels of evidence.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student has described the search terms and search process clearly for the most part. He/she has used international research articles. The student can describe levels of evidence.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has described the search process explicitly both verbally and as a figure. He/she has used many international research articles. The student can assess levels of evidence.
