Global Megatrends and ForestryLaajuus (5 cr)

Objectives

The student is able to assess and analyze how the global megatrends affect decision making in particular forestry projects whether they are investments, developing cooperation or administrative developments. The student is able to analytically implement the often contradictory information on the effects of megatrends in specific local decision making cases. The student understands the need for using information produced by many different sources and the need for producing information in participatory processes.
