Objectives

The aim is to combine theoretical teaching with practice and to provide a reality-based view of the requirements and practices of the field. The student is able to apply the knowledge and skills produced in education in practice when working as an intern in industry. The aim is also to improve the language skills of working life and to understand the necessary work community skills and the key points of labor law.

Content

6 Months of industrial training in a workplace that supports the content of training.The student works as an intern in the field, keeping a learning diary and reporting on his / her internship. The internship is reported in writing, in English, after the internship. During the internship, the intern reports on events and progress in guidance discussions with the internship supervisor. The student becomes acquainted with the organizational structure, management procedures, regulations and operational processes in the field. Students develop their working life language skills and learn the necessary work community skills and key points of labor law

Prerequisites

Internship plan and internship agreement approved before the internship.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

The content of the internship must approach the work tasks in accordance with the content of the education, in which the student applies the things he or she has learned in the Diploma Training of the university of applied sciences. In addition to his / her own job, the trainee becomes acquainted with the activities of the company or work community in such a way that he / she is able to demonstrate this in his / her traineeship report. Approved work (6 months) at the internship place and filling in and returning the internship diary (accepted) and internship report (accepted). The internship (6 months) shall be performed within 10 months period.
