Clinical laboratory investigations and ECG exam or learning assignment details will be announced at the orientation class.
Implementation increase test: January 2023. The increase test will be held in connection with the last renewal of the Nursing 2 test, unless otherwise stated in the implementation plan. Notify the teacher by e-mail no later than week 50 (at least three weeks before the increase week) that you want to do the increase test. After this, raising is not possible.

- Participation in the implementation orientation is mandatory.
-100% attendance during training classes (absence is compensated as agreed), active participation in classes.
-Preparing and doing assignments before practice lessons by getting to know things in theory. Approved performance of tasks within the given schedule.

The student
- has a basic knowledge of the patient's needs for rest, nutrition, elimination, cleanliness, physical movement and interaction, as well as related nursing assistance techniques and is able to promote health in these areas
- understands the importance of taking into consideration the patient's sexuality in nursing and knows the methods of its intervention
- knows the principles of primary nursing and acting as the patient’s own nurse is able to help and guide people in daily activities in a customer-oriented way
- become trained in face to face patient guidance
- knows the essentials of health-promoting nutrition
- knows the principles of rehabilitative nursing
- knows the principles of ergonomic working in nursing and knows how to apply them in assisting the patient

- knows how to assess a patient’s pain and is aware of various methods of pain management

- knows the basics of venepuncture and skin puncture blood sampling and electrocardiography
- practises performing venepuncture and skin puncture sampling and can record a 12-lead ECG under supervision considering quality factors, patient safety and occupational safety

- primary nursing and the responsibility and principles of primary nursing

- monitoring of the circulatory system, measurement and related nursing assistance methods
- monitoring of respiration, measurement and nursing methods of respiratory support
- monitoring of body temperature and nursing actions and methods related to imbalances of thermal regulation
- assessment of a patient’s vital signs based on the ABCDE –method and reporting of patient’s condition (ex ISBAR, NEWS)
