Student is able to implement an animation project and to use animation as a way to express fine art concepts. Student is able to use manual skills and technical knowledge to control production processes related to animation. Student is able to use synthesis of digital and analogue techniques in animation.
Student is able to collaborate in an international student team.

Student creates and implements an animation project. Students improve the exploration, curiosity, ambition, depth and breadth of creative practice in a systematic and insightful manner.

Location and time
On-site sessions in Mediapolis mostly on Fridays. More time has been prepared for the end of the term two, November and December.
Exam schedules
There are no exams, this course is based on working on projects.

Teaching methods
This course is based on creating and producing animated materials for different projects. This requires a lot of self-orientation and intensive working in teams. The lecturers provide assistance within the projects and project practices.
Learning materials
The learnings of the minor are put in practice within this course.
Student workload
Group work, ideation, delivering project documents 10-30%
Working on creating animated material and other project materials 70 - 90%
Content scheduling
Planning, pre-production August - Mid October
Production Mid-October - December
Completion alternatives
If student is able to showcase animation projects these projects can be credited fully or partially based on the work role and content.
Practical training and working life cooperation
Each student is supposed to have one client project. This brings in real connection to work life.
